Grand Opening of Strøm Spa in Quebec City
Today is the Strøm Nordic Spa Old Québec grand opening!
On the shores of Brown Basin in Quebec City, this new world-class spa will be a major asset for the development of this historic site and for the entire region. Its main building and annexes total 32,000 square feet:
- A main building of 2 floors with basement and 3 single-storey pavilions, all very fenestered (reception, changing rooms, shop, bistro, commercial kitchen, relaxation, massage and treatment rooms, administrative rooms, technical rooms and multifunctional room).
- Hot and cold indoor and outdoor pools, salt pools such as “natural flotation”, hot and cold waterfalls, saunas and steam baths, as well as terraces and pergolas.
- Landscaping including heated sidewalks.
The electromechanical concept has been developed to meet the specific needs of the project, in particular by offering users high acoustic quality, high thermal comfort, suitable air quality, high energy efficiency and harmonious integration into the neat architecture.
